The other method is to use google or youtube to learn how to turn on your "view all file type extensions"..

That's a waste of time. My method takes literally 1 whole second, if that.

Your method remains at the highest end of "actions that must repeat" every time its needed.. repetition should be handled by drones, computers.. people save time by doing it once right.. but for those who choose your method, more power to them.. it isn't that bad.. just not for me. chuckle.

Not worth a thread of its own but darn, the way the muscle memory kicks in from 30 years ago.. docking that thing was very much a "yeah, I still got it" moment.. and the technique of switching lasers to the rear mount and running away with rear view activated and much pewpewpew still works, even for pulse lasers

How many times do you need to load the game? If people simply were to select the '*.*' drop down once, I think they would remember it for the next time they load they game which could be hours later or even the following day.
