That really would be the cherry on top for this week. All the other news and announcements have been great, and the update is bringing some massive improvements. Now we just need to get the store nonsense sorted out! C'mon Fdev, let us give you our money!

...Hmm, I've not given any names to any of my ships, I usually give them just the name of my imaginary 'Corporation' in the game and if I can, what role they play (Wild Deer Corporation (for general use) or Wild Deer Travel, Wild Deer Trade or Wild Deer Mining etc.).
I might make an exception though with the Mandalay or Cobra Mk V.
Ah!, yes...Banners, that's another graphical add on that's quite novel...I like, I'm not moaning, it's just a thought I had when seeing them but It would be pretty neat If one could customise those banners...basically in the same way as naming your ship. In my personal case I could transfer a duplicate of my ships name, and have that banner also advertising my imaginary 'Corporation' name as well.
Anyhow, on the subject of the new Mandalay and Cobra V...I thought the paint job for the Mandalay Stellar version is graphically attractive when I was looking at the Livestream last night....not too sure about the ship kit, I'll get a better impression if / when I can buy one later today perhaps. I hadn't noticed this in any of the previous livestreams but I also quite like the 'glowing' ?...SCO drive nacelles (on the top) when the ship was powering those up....or was I imagining it...
The Cobra V looks great too, I personally like the new design so I'll definitely get one of those when it's released. Was it shown with a ship kit?...or was it the standard version?
As it's probably still a work in progress I'd suspect it was shown 'un ship kitted out'. The new cockpit design was hinted at as having a better view than the Cobra 3, with a similar view to the front and downwards as per the Mandalay's, well that's how I read it from the commentary in the Livestream.
Hopefully just another hour and a half to go....
