7th NovemberSo what's the word on the Type-8 availability for in-game credits? Some were saying it's coming with the patch, others early November... any official word?

Yeah there was an update in, 2023 I think, where the fire groups on all of one's ships were gone...every...single...one...The fire groups i'm not quite sure about, I might have had some issue with that, but if so I reprogrammed them and went on with my life..![]()
Arf felt the need to state 'at first I didn't see the need for it'
Do you understand what the biggest part of this update, Ascendancy, is about? I'm beginning to think you don't.But it is still NPCs, so I don't see the distinction here? whether it is power play NPCs or non power play NPCs, makes little difference.
I thought when they fixed that one the only shios left affected where ones you had used while the bug was active and hadn’t manually rewritten your fire groups.Yeah there was an update in, 2023 I think, where the fire groups on all of one's ships were gone...every...single...one...
Surely I must have fixed them ALL by now?
So EDO gets an update on a Thursday giving the Devs only a day before the weekend to fix the issues ? Going by prior experience?
Unless of course they are no bugs ??
2025 release announcing soonYeah.
Let's start a petition to delay it until the following Tuesday instead?
I'm pretty sure I remember fixing lots of ships I hadn't used in a while. Now, memory being what it is, I recognize that I may be wrong.I thought when they fixed that one the only shios left affected where ones you had used while the bug was active and hadn’t manually rewritten your fire groups.
These delays will continue until FDev realizes their current model isn't working and decides to value customer (Beta Tester) feedback.
Good to know!I have taken part in a number of beta tests, they do these before major updates, since this isn't a major update they have probably used internal testers, this is acceptable for updates between major updates because beta testing costs money.
At least we'll have a chance to relatively compare how strong these bites were. Since the existing game has no dangerous resistance from NPCs (it doesn't matter if it's a fight in CZ or AX CZ), many pilots just disarmed their ship to make it at least a little interesting to play.some of us do like NPCs with bite, please don't water it down too much.
Frontier has done several Beta releases over the years. Might not be known for people who started recently, but they have indeed run beta instances in past, particularly for major updates. These delays will continue until FDev realizes their current model isn't working and decides to value customer (Beta Tester) feedback.
First I’ve heard of it from anybody.
One time I tried to core mine in a thargoid controlled system to break the monotony. At a guess, and I've not been checking out streamers recently to see PPV2, so I might be talking twaddle, but it looks to me that the NPC spawn conditions might be derived from the Thargoids, who always spawn in a location you enter from supercruise after a short while?
