Hey! I'd be happy to contribute! So, which ones are we talking then? Hour count and/or ships? I can totally use their logo, but I'd need a file (transparent .png, decent size/resolution, or vector). As for ships, I'd rather you asked permission to FD for me to use the assets. From there, sure, I can make the files
Also, can you send me some pics of the logos you already have? So I can try to make something consistent.
There's no security career per se, this badge refers to armed escorts during exploration expedition, or informal 'police' groups of players.
Ok, I was so unclear that I owe you an apology. Let me start over. I’m getting a little more excited about the idea of merit badges for our gamers. The kids are getting excited, and feedback from Mobius, and yourself, was great too, but the renewed interest from the kids was really the best. My wife asked me to get some badges for things outside of the game. (Doing dishes well, chores without nagging and so forth.) I realize you may be too busy for these, or that they might not even peak your artistic interest, but it never hurts to ask. J

Extra Life. Every year, we do this marathon gaming session to raise money for terminally ill kids. You get sponsors, and play for 24 hours straight. We do this 1/year, but could more. They had a marathon a couple springs ago that I missed, but you get the idea. I want to give a badge for each year the kids, wife or brother have done this. Here is their logo.

The kids (me too) get proud of their ships. The page we put together for them, displays a pic of currently owned ships. And on Inara you can put up your ships and so forth. We were thinking of an achievement badge, like “Bought a Viper!” or Cobra or Anaconda. My youngest is really proud that she could get a “Cobra”; named it “Razor Whip” And I thought the badge might have a glamor shot of the ship, or such, but wasn’t going to say something because I figured you might have your own ideas and want to do that. Anyways, the idea was to have an achievement badge for the different ships. (Collect the whole set!) Under no circumstances were we going to use any of these to make money, or do anything outside our family / friends gaming group. I planned on putting up a final badge board similar to the one I put up to show what we were doing before, but I don’t think we’re violating anyone’s intellectual property. (Although you might know Frontier’s mind better on this score)
I love the idea of the caravan / explorer guard position for the security button. I will fly with it, and I’ll bet they love it. Maybe add some like “Protected explorers from pirates” and so forth. B-)
