ANNOUNCEMENT Elite Dangerous Horizons Fold Down

You paid £120 for something, used it for 5 years, and perceive no value? Fascinating. Do use this logic f
LOL you are not a player that played the original elite on ZX Spectrum like me are you

I am, yes. Thats also a purchase which now being given away free. If you have a desire to moan about this stuff, you need to first understand what value is and what depreciation is, otherwise, you just end up looking like a bit of a numpty.

The "original" Elite was in 1984, on BBC :sneaky: . For what it's worth I still have the BBC, the original Elite box, the tape still inside.

Not sure how that helps an argument about whether you received value from a game you bought in 2014/2015 and have apparently played ever since.

I tried to get an understanding as to why some value worth on other peoples experience over their own but no one can seem to answer it

I didn't get Horizons for 5 years free I had to pay 120 pounds, so it wasn't free to me!!!

Ignoring the fact that people can now pay for EliteD which now includes Horizon
do you feel like you have had value in 5 years of gaming in Elite Danderous and all its updates/expansions/exclusive content?

thistle its not the fact they are getting it free, good luck to them but its do with loyalty. Those members who have been loyal by purchasing I long time commitment to the company via a lifetime pass just get a free paint job thrown at them with the words "thank you for your commitment" That's all im trying to say all along
