To be fair, Metacritic is just as valid as any other website or online media. The fact that it's scores are highly subjective is irrelevant. It's a bit like saying the Daily Mail doesn't count as a newspaper, due to the quality and accuracy of it's reporting.

Not really. It's devoid of any context and new content and is used to stir offtopic debate in this thread.

Metacritic is fine...linking to that is fine...linking to all kinds of articles/reviews good or bad is fine...posting in this thread everytime the user score changes 0.1% is somewhat unnecessary. It adds nothing to the archive of media links.

It's like updating us every time new user comments have been written on a previously linked youtube video. ;)

That I agree with, however it is not what you mentioned nor what I was relying to. Erm does that make sense? :D

Again I agree, with the caveat that occasionally there may be a comment or so worth mentioning. Rarer than Rocking Horse Poop to be sure, but.. :D

BTW - heads up Ed Lewis - looks like there are quite a few prominent tech related Youtubers going to PAX East - Tek Syndicate, Linus Tech Tips, possibly Tested.com amongst others - most of these guys have been playing/watching Elite Dangerous and generally speak highly of it - opportunities await :)
