There's actually some really good information I wasn't aware of. Braben clearly wants a PvE focused game where players cooperate against the AI, and where PvP is a rare thing. Some of the design decisions make more sense to me now.

Excellent if true, that's exactly the game I backed.
Either way can work for me if it's done well, really. But I hope the hype for the game doesn't get out of hand with all this media coverage.
Will FD have any presence at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3, 10–12th June 2014 in LA)?
Seems like the kind of place you might want to be if you were about to launch a major title making full use of that new-fangled Oculus Rift that's also going to be there with it's latest model.
All great publicity, and I'm sure a few of the devs would be more than happy to attend.

Ahh You're not being serious.... Of course FD should have a showing at E3 in LA. FD needs all the publicity they can get. It's just not all about the Oculus Rift.

PCGAMER UK runs a 'Played it' article this month on ED by Andy Kelly.
Andy has been playing the alpha and the article is full of praise about ED. Half of the two-page article is devoted to how well ED plays with Oculus Rift, '..feels handcrafted for the headset.'
