The article is a little bland but the comments are pleasingly full of rage. Apparently we're all suckers and Braben is a snake-oil salesman. Who knew?

Aye well spotted. The writer Charlie Hall doesn't go into great detail on the vast numbers of games now put out that are 'unfinished' almost requiring patches and updates from day one.
David and the ED team are going about this the right way. They know what they want and the alpha/beta testers know that the final product will be all the better for it & last longer.
I rather pay a bit more for this compared to a box full I've just put to the charity shop because the games were rubbish.
