Ok, so I just bought the one for the Python, and I'd like to give a heads-up to those who're planning to do the same:

Yes luckily as my Krait core miner and T9 have the Chromed paint job and the new parts blend in nicely.Wow, wow... kits change and adapt colour to your base livery?!?
Here's a new kit tried with recent gold CG award skin and it turned black! I thought kits come in a few fixed colours.
So, does the kit take livery base colour or...?

The new ship kits look amazing @sallymorganmoore ! Definitely perfect stuff for mining vessels, and my heavy trader T9 is absolutely getting some Big Rig floodlights pronto!
If we're passing on feedback, my one request is that if there's a second wave of these, can the Keelback be included? The T6 kit also looks awesome, but I (and hopefully many others) use the Keelback as a dedicated core mining rig and salvager. It'd look fantastic in this treatment as long as the side nacelles are still given space to rotate.
But that Cobra, though.
Yep, ship kits do that.Wow, wow... kits change and adapt colour to your base livery?!?

But there aren't any ship kits for the type-7, and none are promised in the post. Will there be a Hazard Pack for the t7?Ship Kits excluding the new Hazard pack will be discounted by 20% on the following ships: Type-6, Keelback, Type-7, Type-9, Type-10
I actually dont mind the industrial looking view from the Krait, it fits in with its purpose - exploding rocksYep, ship kits do that.

Also thanks for not breaking the cockpit view of the T9 like seen above with the Python and Krait.
See, here's the thing for me. While I like the look of these things and all, I've never been a fan of buying bundles from which I might only use a few components. Let me buy individual components of such bundles and we're on to a winner for mine - at least that way I'll buy items I will use and not waste some of the arx on things that will just sit in my livery options never to see the light of some star or other.....Greetings Commanders.

FAQ:
More new cosmetics this week? What about game development news and updates on open issues? Why are the team focusing on store content?
We entirely appreciate that many of you are eagerly anticipating more news on the release of Update 13 and progress related to open issues.
News in these areas is still pending and we'll be sure to share any latest information we have, as soon as we have it.
Fear not, the team behind the creation of store items and cosmetics are a skillset all of their own, aiming to bring you new content from their side whilst the core game team focus on core game development, open issues and updates.
Thanks so much for your continued understanding o7
I'm not observing any noticeable difference. With all the talk of "in-game functionality," has anyone verified whether or not the ship-kit spot-lights actually output more light than a ship without the kit?
Inevitabre!MATT DAMON approves of this advetorial post

So in other words, the outcry over "shift in policy" and "paying for in-game functionality" by some of the folks on this thread were unfounded, and it's cosmetic-only after all. Thank you for checking on that.I'm not observing any noticeable difference.
