My question is will legacy players have to do this every time?

I know as much as you, but one can hope and maybe even expect that this swap is pretty final, and should leave Legacy Horizons floating untouched through the black spaces of time from here on out...

I have a carrier in Legacy which has cheap Tritium for sale (both legal and stolen). Its currently at Hutton Orbital Wolf 359.

Where should I park it so that other players can get the benefit?

I would suggest near a CG hotspot. Or maybe Sol? Somewhere easy to find/access.

Sol is permit locked, so I chose Alpha Centauri.

How do I find the CG hotspot? Its not showing on my galaxy map.

CGs in Legacy are usually thargoid related, but I'm not sure about the regularity of the events.

Oh, and there's only enough credits to carry it for 4 weeks if nobody buys any Tritium...

If I remember, I'll check on it in a week or two...wouldn't make any sense to keep the same name once it is emptied...

There's still 4845 units of stolen Tritium, which burns just fine for carrier jumps...or black market trading...

I have been holding off updating hopping that there would be a workaround so I won't have to re-download Legacy.

I did purchase Odyssey but prefer Legacy
My internet isn't that fast and I have a limit cap.

I think the workaround is:

• Rename the legacy folder under Products,
• Do the update
• Rename it back

I'd have filled my hold with it for restocking, but am switching ships a bunch at the moment so can't really keep it anywhere and my tanks are full right now.
