I still miss the days when actions had consequences, and rebuys hurt, if you got roflstomped on a saturday night powerplaying or at a CG, and ate a 30million credit rebuy for your "one of the big 3" - it hurt, could take a couple of days or weeks to recoup that, now it takes half an hour mining, hence noobiconda's being a thing...

I was also in my Freegle painted red. Back when 20ly was a good jump range and 10000ly was DEEP into the backwoods. lol

Went to Sag A* in mine! 24lys capable, raced out there in a long weekend (23ish hours of jumping) followed by a more sedate return over a few weeks. Earnt about 50 million if I recall, all pre-engineering when credits were hard to come by etc..etc..blah...blah...in my day...

It's Isinona for me too. I had been on the fence forever but bought it immediately after I watched one of his videos where he dismissed his ship from planet surface.

wow ED looks like a better game back in beta than it is now, it also had better graphics.

Don't be fooled, a lot of that is additional software (shaders, etc) and settings modification.

You can find the settings mods if you search. Obsidian Ant has talked about it from time to time.

For me, doing the Rares Run... working out the best route to maximise profit in my CMk3...
Probably made a couple of hundred thousand in a week of jumping around
Sag A* trip took me literal months in my poorly equipped AspX, and made me a massive 110Mill - which I blew on my first FDL + A rating.
