Elite Dangerous: Odyssey Deluxe in epic games

Hello everyone, are there many of us who can't play in the odyssey even if they bought deluxe?

I am currently having the same issue, brought the deluxe edition on epic games. It shows I own the game etc but I have no option to launch odyssey. Tried verifying the files, restarting & logging out etc etc but no luck yet.

Yes I did, Its also been confirmed as an issue on the tracker.

what to do but to explore in the odyssey

log out of the ED launcher and close it. Close Epic launcher and then use the ED desktop shortcut to start ED. Epic launcher will start up and then the ED launcher will start and log you in automatically. You should now see odyssey in the list. This is what i had to do.

Yep that error is same one I saw and made me wonder if Epic never reported the sale.

Unfortunately, this doesn't work for me either. I get the same message as Liucifer_MD despite Epic games recognizing I have purchased ED & ED:O and allowing me to play horizons. Having spent about 4 hours trying various things... Reinstalling, logging out, logging in, verifying file & searching very forum available but still haven't managed it. Seems to be something fundamentally wrong behind the scenes.

OMG it worked!

I opened launcher and log out then clicked 3 dots on elite dangerous game and made a shortcut then closed epic and when i opened the launcher it didn't work but i logged out again and closed launcher then epic and started the launcher via shortcut and It worked

Yep that was my experiance. Didnt want to buy the game twice I already had it on the Amiga

I'm at the point where I'm tempted to rebuy the game on steam and return the epic games version but I'm unsure if I would lose my ranks, cash & ships.

Seems like they fixed something, as many times as I tried that and it didnt work it NOW IS WORKING

Nope.
I got EDH free. Then last week i pre-ordered EDO.
No issues for me. But since i got ED on Epic i created a shortcut from the Epic game library to the desktop

I did the same for my ED account on Steam.
And i have 2 ED icons on my desktop.
AND i can run both of them at the same time, the only trick is to make sure the launcher is closed before starting the other ED.

Epic ED launcher is closing by itself after the game starts, so no worries here
Steam ED launcher must be closed manualy...

might be related but that launcher version in your screen shot is different then mine that won't work mine is
