Fixed that for youThats messed up. Pre patch it was at least playable for me and now it stutters like B-B-B-B-B-Bob-B-B-B-B-B-by B-B-B-B-B-Boucher.

On the upside, your ships evidently been fitted with a prototype cloaking devicePlease add a fix for the excessively dim lighting. It's hard to get excited about exploring when nebulae look like this and the Milky Way is mostly just an orange blob.View attachment 231365
I use a HOTAS too for most of the things and I find it much more tedious. But that's the point with UI: You can't please 100% of the people 100% of the time.I use a full HOTAS and find it easier. My hands are going back to the hotas at that point anyway.
Part of this may be the way my bindings were set, but the Horizons one, I had to go back and forth between directional hats and keyboard multiple times for making selections and then providing input. Now it's just one swap.
Still getting ""There was a problem retrieving Commander data from the server".
Very immersive start menu gameplay since Friday. Thank you.
So I took a look at this scenario and I'm not seeing how the new UI is worse than before. Either you have to go to a drop down on the side and scroll your way through to the section you want or you click to the section. It takes two mouse clicks vs a mouse click (to the selection), a scroll, and another mouse click to select.Have fun to travel 100000ly, check each 1000 ly for interesting stars around/ahead like WR, then into each star on the route pick ELW words which were not mapped and ignore mapped.
That is usual trip, nothing special.
When you do that with new map will talk.

What it does allow now that wasn't an option before though, is that the new UI (though it doesn't support it currently) could support multiple filters in the future in a way that makes sense. So I'd classify that as a net neutral change at the moment with the potential to be a huge positive in the future with some more work.
What were you finding was so much harder?
Sorry, my mistake.Don't bring reason here. This is an internet space game forum, gathering space nerds from across the world. And we are on a witch hunt and rampage!
Oh yes.. like the missing fss orbit lines in moons when you play in VR. This bug sits acknowledged and voted in the issue tracker since 2 years alreadyBugs are in all games. Frontier are pretty quick at addressing them.
Yup, but that can take awhile. I've waited for over 4 days now
Oh great, now I can't have any missions to go to colonia within 7 hours and then get back to turn in, for those times I absolutely want to do 2 3 hour speed runs only to die and try again when I get to the on foot mission in Colonia?Game is working even better now! Thankfully the few Colonia missions I saw are now gone, freeing up space for more missions. Good job FDev, thank you for your hard work
Tried it, didn't workAh, that sucks. Apparently - and I haven't tried this yet - there is a workaround to get out of this situation.
If you have a friend invite you to multicrew, then they self-destruct their ship, you should respawn as normal.
I'd think it would be even easier to just load up horizons. There are a handful of unrecoverable issues in Odyssey without a position reset, but loading Horizon's does that if you are in a non-horizon feature. I fell through the wall in a megaship that I shouldn't have been able to disembark at and couldn't do anything in odyssey, but loading horizons forced me back in to my ship and I was able to recover myself.Ah, that sucks. Yes, and regular elite dangerous. I've tried all the workarounds that have been thrown around. The other games refuse to load my character because I'm in a taxi. I get a message asking to recover to orbit, and when i click that I get a error, and then i get the same question again, over and overDid you try loading Horizons?

Ouch, that's unfortunate.Sadly not, it will offer you the option to return to orbit when it can't read the odyssey save, but pressing that does nothing other than reopen the 'return to orbit' prompt.
