Wow. Great. I think - just hoping all the wrinkles get sorted... and we still have phase 4 to go yet.
28 is a good year, dude.Odyssey releasing on my Birthday - how kind!
RP stuff like sitting and drinking, etc. would likely be added later as opposed to before release as it doesn't add any real gameplay.Cool, but isn't that a bit early? Odyssey is generally in a good shape. However, there's significant feedback to improve it. Such as the framerate on planets, concourse (drink, eat, sit, dance).
Your feedback during the alpha period has been invaluable and made this release date possible. We'll continue collecting your feedback throughout the upcoming alpha phase 4 and beyond launch as we work on further improvements and content updates.
If you mean the gene scanner, that has been confirmed as being removed. Or at least the minigame will be removed. The scanner will just be a point and click device.I wonder what is going to change based on feedback? I hope they reconsider how the scanner works.
Which scanner?I wonder what is going to change based on feedback? I hope they reconsider how the scanner works.
Release is the beta. A sort of final will be quite a few patches later. No Beta?
My concern is that low spec PC owners are now really in the console cohort (which is a much later release)- happy to be corrected though.Good question. It sure looks like it as only requirement on Odyssey in Frontier Store is Elite Dangerous. The specs for the base game may or may not have been increased, not sure?
Stoked for that release date though. Oooooo ... and o7
Who knows. Alpha is still not anywhere close to that, we can only hope in the final build.Great news with the release date.
Does this mean that on release the PC requirements revert back to the Horizons spec?
There's still time to pre-order Odyssey and get your hands on the exclusive Pioneer suit skin
Well it could be that we are testing on a spoon level build, which would be lovely.Who knows. Alpha is still not anywhere close to that, we can only hope in the final build.
We certainly have been 'testing' on a very bare-bones version...Well it could be that we are testing on a spoon level build, which would be lovely.
