Many improvements and fixes
That's what I'm seeing in patch notes for many apps developed by chinese studios, lol
Many improvements and fixes
It's almost like we need a roadmap linked to the issue tracker..... You know a roadmap that shows the direction of the product.........
Nah, Fdev wouldn't want to be that communicative now would they?
We do, it's in the roadmap. Why would we have a roadmap of fixes if they were not included there. I think now you're the one speculating...Lets wait until the patches are applied before taking the pitch forks shall we?
At this point in time we simply don't know what will and wont be fixed.
The directiopn of the product right now is to fix as many bugs as possible, as stated by the roadmap.
Should they be called patch forks?Lets wait until the patches are applied before taking the pitch forks shall we?

I don't play other games. I find time to play one game, this one. So if FDev forces me to play something else because they can't get their act together, I am gone, for good. The reason I picked this one is because I played Elite '84 and I knew I loved the vision of the game. I am sure I am not the only old fart that feels this way. There is another approach - play other games. That's what I've been doing and I've had FUN FUN FUN! No game is worth getting depressed about with the array of entertainment choices we have these days, especially with Xbox Game Pass.
Other games get updated on a regular basis and don't leave players hanging for months until basic bugs are fixed. Check out what the developers of Stellaris are doing and ask yourself why we can't have the same approach for ED:
Stellaris Dev Diary #214: Announcing “The Custodians” initiative and the free Lem Update
Greetings! Today I am here to announce some very good news! Stellaris is not slowing down, but rather picking up the pace! We at PDS Green are very happy to announce our new “Custodians” initiative as well as the next free update, coming...forum.paradoxplaza.com
Awesome and how many is as many as they can? It might be one or a thousand or none at all.
It's almost like we need a roadmap to highlight which bugs are getting fixed in which release.
It's a meaningless statement without something to measure it against.
that's not a roadmap. It's barely vague directions to some place "over there maybe".
We don't know, we will know latter.
There is no point in being angry now. you can be angry if the fixes don't satisfy you. You don't know if they will or not right now, unless you can see the future that is.
I know, right? Here I've made a start on at lease one of the many fixes and improvements

It is a roadmap. Just a roadmap out of the city we're starting in, rather than a roadmap all the way to the next city we want to get to.
We should not surprised. FDev have a lot of work to do to sort EDO out, and promising a roadmap with only ten days prep does not allow for much long-term planning. They've told us their immediate short-medium term plans: fix as much that's broken as possible ASAP, and then expand to other platforms. That's fair enough for now. I'm fine giving them more time to let them plan and communicate to us a longer-term vision.
Second star to the right and on til morningHow do I get a refund?
This roadmap is intentionally vague.
Let me get it straight: you're advocating that the roadmap is "exactly what they told us we would get".We don't know, we will know latter.

At the same time, you want everyone to believe we'll get more than the announced roadmap fixes.
Make up your mind.
I'm saying not such thing, I'm saying WE DON'T KNOW.....
My mind is pretty much done thank you.
