Elite Dangerous: Odyssey Update 5

The Tormentor (pistol) is rather useful too!

Grind? I'm 'just playing' and doing stuff I find fun and progressing reasonably well... Although I think the mat requirements for Odyssey upgrades are totally 'over-the-top-stupid' and will pick up the last couple of bits of data for both long-range and reduced tool consumption then stop, otherwise I will feel like I'm imposing "GRIND" on myself. No doubt in a few months I'll have another upgrade or two in stock ;) (but as my other account is in Colonia I have had to come back to the bubble to do engineering in Odyssey!)
Tormentor and the Executioner is a good combo.

:D S

I tried a G5 Aphelion, but trying to aim those many headshots needed to kill someone, makes one vulnerable to enemy snipers.

TK-Eclipse and AR-50 on Dominator suit myself, good to see the whites of their eyes!
G5 Tormentor sidearm too .. and the only weapon equipped to Maverick.

Hello! I'm back! At least I hope I replied last night saying I was going to check in on this otherwise saying "I'm back" will make me look daft, BUT
Both happy and sad to say that firstly, these are issues in the QA/Dev side system with regression being carried out for further checks and breakdown - the flip side is that I don't have an update for you on the progress further without more of those tests. I'll keep it on my radar for you!
Hi sorry, just logged on - That's ok, news in general is good news, thanks for the update!
I'll try and drum up some more netlogs for the NHSS side just in case - as long as it doesn't bury anything, more data can't hurt I figure =)

The grind is real for the people trying rush EDO.
Apparently some are trying to "finish" EDO really fast so they can move to other activities (or other games)

No rush, no grind.

Edit: the only thing that kills it for me is the bulk materials caps.
They add an unnecessary chore under the form of permanently managing the inventory, making lists with things i need, things i dont need, thing i need to dispose off so i can make more room for the things i need... an so on.

Yep, reminds me of the fleet carrier launch ..

No more updates? Why? There are too many bugs in the game, which makes the gameplay almost impossible! Update # 5 has very few fixes and even more in-game issues. Why is this happening? Who needs it? Does this situation mean that this game will soon be closed?

I hope not.

I'd love FD to do an experiment and halve the unlock costs and mat requirements for everything- mainly as to allow more experimentation from players. Too much of the game is focused on unlocking and not actually playing with what you unlock really.

Combine testing it with an event or CG for a week and they would have a pretty useful set of data.
