So I log in to have a quick play before bed... only to find that I have to spend 10-15 minutes downloading an update first?
Which, as the patch notes tell us, contains smeg-all of value to PC players anyway. So lord alone knows why it takes so long to download. Unless there are changes that are undocumented.

Same exact thing here! And the funny thing about it is that I changed to the other Gamertag on my system and it loaded up fine. But anytime I try to log in with the account that actually purchased this game, I get this message. This was this morning. At that point I uninstalled all instances of the game and started to redownload everything. I'll check again when I get home to see if that fixes the problem..

New Frontiers should have done a little bit of beta testing or testing it out before they release it because not totally blocked out of the game I can't even get past the elite dangerous screen without it telling me that I have to buy another copy of the game when I already bought the copy I mean that kind of disappoints me I don't care I don't mind waiting for the update to be beta tested butt I just I just don't understand I'm so I'm so disappointed in Frontier they just they really disappointed me hopefully they'll fix this soon and I'll hopefully won't be like you know two or three weeks without even logging into the thing that be kind of disappointing even though I got other games to play still kind of disappointing that come out this update and it doesn't work
So I wonder if you fixed the bug where if you have two prosepctor drones out with a max of two, and launch a third, then (the bug the most recently deployed of the two self-destructs most of the time (rather than the oldest one)?

EDIT: You still did not fix the bug that prevents using classified camera while in supercruise. I understand crashes are a higher priority, but guys... sigh. I'd honestly rather crash now and again than have to exit supercruise everytime I want to take a photo, which happens much more often.

If I may ask... what is the reason why these patches are not released monthly or biweekly for XBOX, and make each one a smaller patch? Just curious.

Would love to test the patch out, however every time I click the upgrade button my launcher freezes and then crashes after a few minutes. Selecting "alternative download method" makes no difference.
The Frontier store on xbox has kind of ripped me off. I noticed in about 9 hours they updated the prices to more reasonable ones (Paint Packs from 700-500pts and so on) But when I bought two paint job packs, One for the Clipper and the other for the Anaconda it still charged me 1400pts, 700 each. Is Frontier doing anything about this or am I the only one?
I've come to expect this forum to be a grammar-free and a spelling-free zone and am happy to look beyond the mistakes to get at the meaning of people's posts. Patch release notes, however, are another matter and should be held to a higher standard.
I do wish, also, that the Galnet journalists would take a look at The Chicago Manual of Style or at least Strunk and White's The Elements of Style.
The bulletin boards are also littered with errors; my pet peeve at the moment is that many contacts are looking for a 'descrete' pilot. Is this a deliberate mistake to add realism? Perhaps.

well never got an repair tool to work after the patch corrupted something so had to to an full reinstall an now Horizons no longer works but elite starts up an runs no problem as if enjoying the game crashing 25% of the time the FSD was used was bad enough.
