no I am not doing wel out in the black or anywhere else thank you.
I would advanced a theory that long term use of Elite will exibit brain changes and altered reality behaviour
 
hey Sally, i raised a ticket i think about an issue i have since the update where i keep crashing and sometimes its every attempt to play.
I played for one entire night the second night without a single game crash and since then it crashes periodically between 5 min intervals and up to 2 hr intervals.

Last night i dropped in on a hazardous resource and it bugged where my SLF wouldnt finish launching, and i couldnt supercruise untill the game finnaly crashed and restarted. i couldnt even use the start menu to leave the game but when it crashed on that one it didnt send a report so i dont know if you guys were aware of what that one did.

anyway it was on PC under Steam.
I have not recieved any emails about the ticket i submitted the first day of the update and was wondering if i can email someone directly? maybe its something i have in my settings and they could walk me through a fix.
 
I would 100% play a CQC mode that's a wing of players in the AX fighters against increasing waves of thargoids.
Or just do it 'for real?'

Personally I think FD should put the Thargoid back into CQC, but it should be a random element- for example one pickup could be a beacon that attracts the Thargoid to the arena, or that the arena itself is / has toxic areas that degrade the players and you have to keep topping up your hull (like a survival mode of sorts) by killing other players.
 
Just found a big problem with Team Play after the patch. Team mate no longer gets stuck in supercruise tunnel, but 1 out of 5 times crashes out of the game when initiating a system jump. Make it quite unplayable for a team mate on your ship.

I just dropped to a crash site. Disembarked and the thing I needed to scan had disappeared and so had my ship. I relogged but it was all still missing. I'm now updating Horizons to see if I'll restart in my ship... odd one.

EDIT Phew, Horizons had to move me to a safe lolcation and I'm back in-ship.

nice to know it still works in an emergency. i did notice non-horizond ED is missing from the launcher though,

Check the properties of your shortcut to the launcher. If the path includes "/edh" at the end, remove that part & try opening the launcher. The /edh flag hides everything except play Horizons & Odyssey options.

it would have been handy but no dramas. i'm a big fan of leaving well alone unless broken. :) o7

I have tried, but it's difficult to create a scenario where your ship is safe so you can redeploy rapidly. Not to mention the setup time.
 
were interceptors dropping into instances in HIP 22460 boosted? Material gathering started to be unreal. Before this, you dropped and FSD anomaly warning was good 30-40 seconds after. So you had time to get something. Now, I think it's almost instant. Barely one collector returns and interceptor is already on your aft, wrecking it

It only comes into effect when leaving a concourse after stepping from the lift. The journey to shuttle/ship is extremely juddery.

Awkwardly, it does not happen every time so filing a bug report is difficult.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, oddly enough my first week n half or so the game ran perfect everywhere, then a few days before U13 I started to get this after virtually every concourse and persists till now.
Im sure I saw a thread about it and was going to add to it but can no longer find it.

Yep. FPS tanks when returning to your ship from the concourse, and stays that way until you're well out of the mail slot. Which doesn't really make sense because the framerate is fine on the way in to the station, even if you fly all around looking at every possible detail of the starport interior before touching down.
