Thanks for setting this up. Unfortunately, discord is not being nice to me and I can't log in. It tells me my account is unclaimed but my email address has already been registered! Of course it has - I want to log in please... sry.. rly rly don't like discord. I'll try and use roll20 for my games - prior to getting the pdf I had five plotted out and in need of balancing with proper vehicle/opponent stats, rewards etc. . They are all story-based, closer to the espionage-style mentioned in the Core Book but with a variety of themes, i.e. they are all missions undertaken for minor factions in a certain group of systems that exists in-game on the edge of inhabited space.

Now I've had more time to look at the book I realise that it's only the Krait's medium hardpoints I think are a little OTT, the rest of the stats suggest cannon fodder - just don't let it get you in its sights! In a pack they will probably be lethal.

I should be able to GM my first adventure, 'Sopwith Surprise', this Saturday or Sunday (start time 2pm-5pm BST, depending upon how many people can make different time slots, duration est. 4 hours but variable based on player choices). It's balanced for 2-5 players of up to Novice rank, although if there are only 2 Harmless-ranked players I'll give the party a 'hired gun' (optimised Harmless-rank bounty hunter, good at spaceship and personal combat) as otherwise the fighting can take a while.

I guess I'll share an adventure I'm creating.

As a Harmless ranked Commander, you were more than a little intrigued after overhearing an old drunked trying to impress a few barfolks by a retelling of a story to some folks about how she lost the "jewel of her eye", an Anaconda that's wrecked but mostly intact. She waxes that it had been lost to the void carrying untold riches even thargoid technology from the Pleiades. Her friends laugh and call her a braggart but you decide that based on the information She's so freely given that you could find or know a person who could help you locate it if it's real. It could mean you could have access to a vastly superior ship than you could ever afford.

The problem is you know nothing about how to repair a big ship and you weren't the only CMDR at the bar that day who took a keen interest in the ship.

This is a campaign idea about salvaging an Anaconda and making it space worthy again. You could sell the ship, return the ship... or maybe fly it together in a form of multicrew.


But it's not going to be easy and it's going to be expensive. You need to figure out what's broken with it, repair it, get an inspector to get it certified and ensure no one steals your hard work and if you don't have enough cash for the replacement parts, i guess you're gonna have to do some odd jobs.



I have an idea on what the first episode of this campaign will be like. Got the "flow chart" charted.

Some ideas for Kamorin Hisotric Weapons with stats table
Some modern takes of ancient productions

Some liberties have been taken with the idea that some things have been modernised so they are of use by a contemporary spacer, but no more than modern reproduction say using common modern calibres.

Hopefully food for inspiration for other people, and yes there is certainly a space cowboy bias in my choices.

That's very cool. I think one needs stats to fully use them. damage, notes, etc.
