Elite Dangerous | Stability Issue Update and Action

Is your CPU/GPU fan clean? maybe it's got dust and can't handle the heat. 🤷‍♂️
The PC is practically brand new, it had no trouble running odyssey two days ago. Now it it crashing immediately and giving me orange sidewinder errors upon trying to load back in.

I am near a planet for whatever difference that makes.

as i said, if you are using a Radeon RX 6000 series card , make sure your driver is version 22.5.1

edit, if that's not the case, open a support ticket and FD will sort you out

Ive seen your biscuits and gravy, dangerous ground my friend, dangerous ground ;)
I live in the South East US and you haven't seen anything until you've seen biscuits and chocolate, yes chocolate, gravy. It's basically biscuits with warm chocolate syrup and for some reason, my inlaws love this! Never understood it, but it's now Christmas morning breakfast tradition for them.

Clean shader caches. There are 2 places to check:
1. Steam
2. driver's place

I just cleansed cache of nvidia and suddenly it works better.

Rock n chips loadsa vinegar.
Whip that spinal thang out and eat everything!
Mushy peas nah....not in northwest London. Mebbe a savaloy or Jamaica pastie on the side. And a pickled egg.

And defo no gravy...makes chips soggy@
Same for south London too out of the pub and into the chippy even better on on a chilly evening.

I've lived in the SE US for 20+ years and I have never heard of this (thankfully). And this is speaking as somebody who has witnessed all sorts of culinary abominations at the State Fair.

You sir, are not missing out on anything. I almost feel sick thinking about it. My MIL can make some mean biscuits and sausage gravy though!

Just to check as the language differences between the USA and GB can be confusing.

Biscuits in this context is something similar to what we would call a scone rather than something similar to what you would call a cookie?

The biscuits are outwardly similar in appearance to a scone but they are more buttery and soft and flaky than a scone. The gravy in question is usually a white gravy with bits of sausage in it. There are variations in terms of the [colour|color] and ingredients of the gravy, but the white sausage gravy tends to be the one that most are talking about.

Edit: I suppose I should be specific about the sausage too - I'm talking about bits of sausage meat, not bits of a sausage link.

Greetings Commanders.

Here to address the variety of stability issues you've encountered and reported today, since we released a small hotfix this morning to target a lighting issue.

This hotfix unfortunately included some incomplete data which is causing the crashes you have been experiencing.
We have made the decision to roll back this hotfix in order for you to be able to have the best experience possible in game, over the course of the long weekend ahead.
We will then address the underlying issue following the team's return on Tuesday, after the Bank Holiday.

Thank you for your patience, as always.
Your communication today has been ever outstanding, despite the frustration many of you will have faced.
It's much appreciated o7

Have a wonderful weekend, please.
Greetings.

Any news on the rolled back patch from the last friday? When can we expect it and what does it include?

Thanks

Here you go! American biscuits & gravy! Apparently our biscuits and your scones are similar, but scones are a bit sweeter. The chocolate gravy my mother-in-law makes just replaces the white sausage gravy with a chocolate sauce
