Elite Dangerous | System Colonisation Claim Pause

will the team be looking into reports of rampant cheating and exploiting of colonization? To me it seems rather demotivating to invest time if some can just exploit the system.
Maybe actually read that page (and not just the headline) before throwing baseless hackusations?
False: HIP 16813 Sister Refuge asteroid base has system colonization service. Previously Established Inhabited System Not an exploit, anyone could have went there. It's not a player system it's been there for years and years. OG pre war thatgoid hunters knew it was there.

If I may be allowed the cheeky comment: Anyone else getting a little anxiety attack when seeing "temporarily disabled for a thorough investigation"? That phrase sounds awkwardly familiar from another game mode that was released just a few months ago where things have been "temporarily disabled" the whole time while developers on stream say "it's in a good spot now".

I hope I won't lose my construction points, As this happened I just got done my platform... I should be able to build Tier 2

Does this mean we can still add new buildings to systems for which we already finished the main starport?

Man-delayed again.
Will my progress be lost?
No! Any efforts made to colonise the galaxy so far, including any System Architect status', will continue to remain in place and you can continue to focus on building and upgrading your systems. This only affects the ability to claim new areas.
This pause only affects new claims. Your existing systems can still be worked on.
Not if we have finished our latest construction, we cannot start any other stations or installations because the green circles are not there.

The only "exploit" I know of is boarding another cmdrs ship, going to a permit locked system and calling their ship. Not that I've ever done it, I did not and frontier would know. I heard about this here on the forum.

As far as I can remember they rarely publicise exploits or what actions were taken those using them.
I agree it's a good stance. But in some cases where the exploits affect the entire playerbase a little heads up and swift punishment should be the norm.

Can we please stop with the speculation about potential exploits please.

Fair enough but if that was intended as bubble why was it not included in the update notes? why not colonia? And what about this https://www.reddit.com/r/EliteDangerous/s/kN60bo2NUK lol why is the new colonization system on pause now?
There is a reason we have no naming & shaming written into the forum rules.

The team are perfectly aware of the potential issue, and it's on the issue tracker. They will investigate and be able to determine what is actually happening. Frontier almost never make public statements about exploits, and rarely publicly mention action that they take. But that doesn't mean they aren't, and it has served them very well for 10 years.

I've let you run a bit, but I think you need to be careful with pushing it much more.

I apologise

Hey folks,

We've added the following to our FAQ bit:

My system architect status is missing/I can't continue to work on my systems
This issue is currently being investigated and a solution will be available very soon. Once this solution is in place your system architect status and progress will be displayed correctly.
Thanks Paul, appreciate the clarification.

Also appreciate the challenges involved when security is at play, so if that's the case - additional sympathies and ecouragement from me :)

Understood, I wasn't trying to break any rules , was just hoping for direct honest communication from the developers.
