They said the loss of the tag is just a graphical bug, my concern since once I lost the tag other cmdr managed to make the claim of my system, the thing is more worrying
Yeah, that's no bueno for sure. Your system should not have been possible to select and expand to.

Dear Paul,

Thank you for the update but can you clarify this part:

'Will my progress be lost?
No! Any efforts made to colonise the galaxy so far, including any System Architect status', will continue to remain in place and you can continue to focus on building and upgrading your systems. This only affects the ability to claim new areas.'

All of tthe colonies I have successfully claimed since Wednesday are now broken. I am not shown as the arhitect and I cannot edit the system or buiild new ports. So the part above about 'you can continue to focus on building.......' is not correct. Many thanks for your help.
I lost my architect status yesterday evening, it was still lost this morning, but it returned right now. So wait some hours, it will return automatically, I guess.

Nothing will be lost. The station I'm currently building still has the same progress and I can continue to deliver material. FDev will fix this so that we can continue building again

I've got bad news for you. You can indeed finish the station, as did I today, but as soon as you restart the game (afterwards), you'll lose that system. Yes, that's right, you won't be able to add anything else, because, according the the game, you don't have any colonies anymore.

Oh, and that system that you are working right now? For some reason will have a red cross (invalid) on it afterwards.

i wonders what they gona do when my original claim was completed but no outpost built and has now subsequently been claimed by another🤷‍♂️
by rights the first to claim and complete should be honoured imo
and another free system should be rewarded and built for all secondary claimants with a humbling apologie to boot...............

I heard of a bug, where it is possible to claim new systems from an unfinished previous system. Just one tons of material is enough to claim another system from this unfinished system. Does anyone know about this or is it rumor? If not, at least for these systems you should consider a roll back.

Hm okay, I only have one station construction active so far, everything else is ready. And since the feature isn't back online yet, it seems to be something bigger. Then I'd rather wait until the system is running again before finishing

Greetings Commanders,

Thank you so much for your feedback and participation in the live Beta for System Colonisation. The response and engagement we have had has been phenomenal and you have progressed in colonising the galaxy at an incredible rate.

So far you have colonised over 8000 systems and completed over 13,000 facilities! In just a few days that is an astounding achievement!

One of the reasons we launched System Colonisation as a live beta was to test this at scale, which is something very hard to do for us internally. Thanks to your astounding efforts we have received lots of incredibly helpful data and feedback and it has also identified an important issue that needs to be addressed. This issue greatly impacts the ability to claim systems and needs more thorough investigation.

To that end we have made the decision to temporarily disable the Colonisation contact and pause the ability to claim new systems. This will prevent further expansion for the time being but does not impact any of the progress already made. Players that have already claimed systems will still be able to colonise within them.

The development team are working on this as a matter of urgency. As soon as we have more to share we will let you know.

FAQ

Will there be any more changes following this investigation?
During this live Beta we will be continuing to review data and feedback and make changes where necessary. The live Beta is designed to gather data on scale to ensure we can offer the best outcome.

Will my progress be lost?
No! Any efforts made to colonise the galaxy so far will continue to remain in place and you can continue to focus on building and upgrading your systems. This only affects the ability to claim new areas.

I made a claim but it reset when I logged in, what happens now?
Any progress which was made before the pause will have taken effect but may not have been shown on the UI. This is a visual issue and progress will be correctly displayed once our investigations are complete. No progress has been lost.

Will you be rolling back?
There are no current plans for a roll back.

What about the CG Megaships coming to support System Colonisation?
We have temporarily delayed these until next week.

Will my progress be lost?
No! Any efforts made to colonise the galaxy so far, including any System Architect status', will continue to remain in place and you can continue to focus on building and upgrading your systems. This only affects the ability to claim new areas.

My system architect status is missing/I can't continue to work on my systems
This issue is currently being investigated and a solution will be available very soon. Once this solution is in place your system architect status and progress will be displayed correctly.
my colony has some other commanders name what ?

I'm starting to see a few systems near me return to displaying a CMDR name. Alas I am still the proud ex-owner of a 'previously established inhabited system' and cannot continue with planning my system, though I'll finish goods delivery to one I had in progress. Out of curiosity, would the Customer Service team want a ticket for my particular system or would you prefer to hold off ticketing until you give a green light again?
