Elite Dangerous | System Colonisation Questions

System economies, powerplay, and many other gameplay mechanics are affected by system population. The stream mentioned that colony system population is modified by assets constructed. Does this math account for un-rendered surfaces with carrying capacities, namely Earth-Like Worlds? Will colonies in systems with ELWs be capable of developing billions in population on a playable time scale?

Will certain station outputs, such as outfitting, shipyard, and commodities be directly controlled by the architect, indirectly controlled based on asset choice, or random within the chosen economy type? For example, not all high-tech ports carry advanced medicines for unclear reasons.

Will stations/settlements need up-keep/repairs, and so would indicate a level of degredation if the up-keep is not done by the architect, and will systems eventually completely expire (e.g. stations/settlement move to an "Abandoned" state), if for example, a player has left the game, and is not providing up-keep,but still has systems under his name, so releasing the claim back for other architects to take?

Will stations/settlements have the same rules as carriers in that you can block access from players (or indicate them as hostile), or will players be able to massacre a settlement and power it down as with other NPC settlements today, and will this have an impact on system security, and system up-keep for the architect?

What factors determine which type of economy works best for a system and its stations/settlements? Would exo-biology presence, for example, make an Agricultural economy more appropriate, would stellar phenomena or a nice vista make for good Tourist systems?

As an architect, will I have the ability to demolish a station/settlement and gain a return of credits/materials/metals etc, or is demolition a process, where a demolition ship enters the system and takes the station down over the week, completing on the Thursday tick. If a station is taken down, what happens to player ships docked there? Also, if the last station in a system is demolished, does the claim expire, so other architects can take control?

Will players be able to use in-game tools (e.g. galmap) to find in-progress Colonization systems, so that they may choose to assist (or hinder)?

Thinking something like the PP v2 maps UI, with Progress bar, activities to Assist etc...
(or Thargoid war's list of Systems getting the most player effort)
