that is true, but in general the fact i have to scour the forums to figure out if a downtime was planned or not is a bit annoying, yeah i have the launcher but its so unreliable at saying if they are downI guess this is an unexpected down time. The servers can't warn you before they crash, they just do

downdetector.co.uk is usually pretty good at reporting problems within a min or two of any server or gameplay issues

We've jabbed more electrodes into the server hamsters, reconfigured the lightning rods and shouted "It's alive! IT'S ALIVE!" so you should now be able to start reconnecting. Some server locations may take a couple more minutes longer than others, so please give it a minute or so if you still are having issues.

starting to wonder if there should be some sort of regulations around the treatment of post-death hamster reanimation.

And pls invetigate also the server connection issue. Since Friday evening i'm stuck in the main menu (with server connection apparently ok) but get stuck when trying to enter open (or solo or pirvat) looking at the rotating ship olo-iimage for 3 minutes and then orange sidewinder error code. Tried dozens of time.
mate, I guess you did re-start computer and game several times? Verify game-files? If so, try to re-download the launcher
Use the stuck option under Help
I know feature requests are probably a low priority right now, but please implement trade dividends for teams that deliver goods to the same construction ship, in the same manner as dividends to regular trading for teams. This will encourage players to team up and help each other with construction, making a tedious grind more fun.
