Apologies if that has been asked already, but I'm having a problem that I assume has only started since this update as I was able to play the game fine earlier in the week.

If I try and play the game on my Steam Deck, streaming remotely to the Deck from my main PC, the directional pad on my PS4 controller (connected to the Deck via Bluetooth) is no longer picked up as a D-Pad -- the left/right buttons are ignored, and up/down register as +/- Mouse Z-Axis when I try and bind controls to them.

//edit: And all of the other buttons on the controller register as keys on a keyboard instead, e.g my right bumper maps to Left Ctrl...

My Steam controller settings haven't changed.

Is anyone else experiencing similar?

This round of updates fixed a lot of issues for me. My outpost now has orbit lines, the proper image in the ship dashboard when targeted during super cruise, a commodities market that will buy goods, and the pad doesn't say under deployment. Either those were bugs resolved or they come with the station going operational and the bug of that not happening on Thursday (at least for me) is resolved. So forward progress regardless which is great.

The only other bug I've noticed is I cannot bookmark the outpost. When I try I briefly see the success message in the lower right corner, it briefly takes me out of the map back to the cockpit, then it gives a black adder and bails. Bookmarking other things in the system works fine so this seems isolated to the colonization assets. Restarting the game and computer (only tried once) didn't fix it. On the whole annoying but not a super priority I'd say with everything else being looking at currently, more quality of life type of thing.

If anybody from development or other staff see this great work so far responding to bugs and rolling out fixes in a quick manner.

was playing a collection mission, wasn't aware of the server problems (cos the launcher said "Server Status: Good"!, AGAIN!!!! :mad:)
multiple problems with loading, couple of crashes, got the item, got back into ship, another crash & mission has disappeared.

AND..
just logged on to find the mission (that I no longer had when I closed down) has failed & Ive now got a 30KCr fine, but which doesnt appear in the Admin or Interstellar Factor dialogues so cant pay it off
bah humbug!!!

just relogged & the fine appeared so have paid it off, but now got two PCs that I cant sell as they're both mission items!
FD - an expensive bug that "Server Status: Good" !!!

The server status message just means that the servers are alive and are responding. It doesn't mean that every executable on them are running flawlessly.

edit added: Thats what the mauve adder and other messages are about, those are what report the errors in the executable themselves.

I know how the message is derived
But
what it says is the Servers are "good", which is misleading. I dont care if they're good (i.e. powered up, pinging, not got coffee spilt over them)..."good" means they are not offline for maintenance!
I should not have to go searching in the forums before I try to run up the game, the launcher should give me the correct information!!

Where did all my ARX go? I just started the game this afternoon and came up with 0 ARX, "Failed to redeem .. etc.". Not that it is THIS important but .. well .. you know .. :rolleyes::alien::)

They will be there next time... the miser server was a bit slow counting them.
(seen the same message a few times to date, they always came back!)

Is anyone else stuck logging in? i got a scarlet krait error at a station, then got stuck loading into the main menu, had to end task and restart, and now i am sat staring at the Logging In screen, its been 20 minutes of sitting
