Elite Dangerous | Trailblazers Update 2 - Wednesday March 19

Insulating Membrane at Star is officially "dead" until the rush calms down a little.

That would not change the fact of the resource consumption - only spread it out amidst those other systems as they're being built up - or that people want to daisy chain to locations they find interesting. And by server tick limit do you mean per week or each day?
Even if it was the weekly tick, there are groups of hundreds who would zerg rush every Thursday. This feature is something dreamed of from the start, and demand far exceeds supply, in terms of what players want, and Frontier can make.

Could be projects going on with different needs/groups.
While that could be I also actually meant the supply was down by around 140k, not down to. Steel has been steadily dropping but is still in a fairly 'healthy' position as far as supply is concerned. Insulating membranes over here have hit rock bottom, so I've gone to the outpost T8 strategy instead. One load is enough to cover most of an outpost's need and the rest, those small quantities offered on the supply ship market right now are enough. If/when the time comes to get them for a larger port... well, I'll suffer through it.

Xenia bought it all. :)

Really enjoying the colony building here but I still have 2 coriolis stations that while marked as complete and active are still not spinning/have no missions etc....is anyone else getting this problem? Are we just waiting on the next tick and hoping it works then?

The one is a beauty - 29 star ports and 68 land plots! Going to be a beast. One day......

Is anyone else finding that their destination selection changes at random when transitioning between regular space and supercruise?

e.g., launch from carrier with megaship or station selected. Jump to SC and find the destination is now some random carrier. Likewise leaving a station/megaship, select your own carrier, jump to SC and find you're now heading to some other carrier. Even dropping from SC to regular space will often select some other target.
Can't remember if it happened last weekend. Definitely happened several times this week. Now that the trailblazer megaships are added, it seems to happen about 50% of the time. Very frustrating.

Thank you so much - I was not being lazy but I had not found that particular thread yet! :)

Did you guys see the Elite Dangerous tweet about how orbitals and markets work that's blowing up on the reddit? Still can't find an answer if it works the same with a surface port. Might find out next Thursday or something

I think it’s a little restrictive - to remain constructive about it - that only around the same body things affect station economies. This makes building in systems without planetary bodies that allow construction even less interesting.

Yes, this happens to me often, would guess at least a few of times per hour. I thought my sanity was slipping ever so slightly but seems this time it isn't me...

There have been lots of posts in DD and EDOD about what you need to place where in order to grow the economies and capabilities of what you have built in your system.
I don’t recall seeing the tweet or mention of it.
Planetary Ports have been mentioned but I don’t recall the details.

Any chance you (anyone!) could post links to these please? I am enjoying playing around and learning this stuff myself but I wouldn't mind getting at least one system optimised.
