hello everyone, can you tell me how to update elite denjeros horizon for some reason it is not updated, it says preparation for the update and everything does not go further
Game updates via the FD Launcher can take absolute ages, both to start visibly doing something & then to run through to completion. Ensure there are no other programs running to maximise available resources for the launcher. Better still download & install Mini ED launcher from Github - it's much faster!
 
Just adding up the chevrons the game gives for each construction. It would be nice to have an in-game summary of the entire system, but right now, there isn't one.
The system constructor that I have helped build does this for you (see my sig below for link). I know it would be nice in game too, and FDev have at least done it for individual facilities.

(We're working on a v2 at the moment with lots of improvements, hopefully to be released soon)

Starbase construction question..
On the Ocellus...can you get rings ? Or is the Orbis the only one with rings...and If you can? is it due to system wealth etc? Thanks in advance

I think You have an "Elite Dangerous: Horizons" bound to "Epic Games Store Launcher". If so. Start "Elite Dangerous: Horizons" Update and wait. The Update proceeds in Background not showing the Progress until it's done.
Start Windows "Task Manager" and look for Reading Numbers of "Elite Launcher" from SSD/NVME/HDD. It should reads Data from SSD/NVME/HDD Drive above 0KBits/S and watch "Ethernet" Numbers too. As soon You see Ethernet Numbers go up, Epic Game Store Launcher downloads the Data from Frontier Developments's Server.
I hope, You don't need to wait 4 Hours or more ;-)

Is there an actual problem going on with economies still? I am seeing that anything I build on a body does not have a strong influence of the star or ground ports on the same bodies. It seems my ports are all being influenced by the body itself and the weak links throughout the system only. Is this supposed to be happening?
 
I know the feeling. But I'm sure we'll all have complaints when it first cones out. Then it'll be time for a new crusade 😁
I'd be first in line to say how much of a brick it is [going to be]. If it handles anything like the Type 9... (although I might not buy this one with ARX, because I'd only use it for colonization and I am not enough of a hauler person to consider it worth the money, bar any in-game events that might make me consider it worth speeding up the process of building [my] colonies)

I'm actually one of the few that likes the way the T9 handles. Configured mine for low heat and shieldless so it's actually the fastest of all my ships in being able to jump again right after dropping out of the last jump (near the sun).

It's slow and so very not agile so it forces me to think ahead of time what to do if something bad happens - just like chess ♟️
 
God, I feel so empty reading patch notes and not having to ask for the Panther Clipper.
It isn’t quite out yet so you can taper down by asking about it rather than for it.

There is no need to go cold turkey.

Also you can use the period to come up with a new crusade for the next few years.
 
Did they fix the "buy cargo" bug for Fleet carriers?
Suddenly it works as it should, so I don't have to go twice into the market menu, or to relog.
Unless they did it as a sneaky server-side patch after around 12(PM, local) today, my experience doesn't suggest it. Still had to go into the market twice to have the cargo register as I was offloading earlier for a Coriolis.
 
I second that request for clarification on enabling Universal Cartographics, I have Tech Level 54, Dev Level 61, and Standard of Living at 36 in my system but this hasn't unlocked on my coriolis.
Hi there Tolaron. I see here that you seem to actually know for sure you various "levels", like tech, dev, etc... Where do you read that? I've been pointed to use the colonization tool by daftmav that shows the level points, but it actually shows just the increments. Is there any way to really know for sure what your systems level are?

I literally just came onto this thread to ask the same question! Suddenly I don't have to "double-dip" and it's a beautiful thing. I hope it lasts!
 
some reason my ground ports have nothing in its markets is this a bug or is it only for newly built outposts
There have been cases of completely empty markets. I had an outpost like that, which got resolved with the latest update. Don't know if your case is the same, but I raised an issue for mine as it had been stuck like that for a couple of weeks
