i fill in the crash report which then itself crashes at a shade over 53%

No. Just use AX Cannons. You get them from a human technology broker.

Never doubted you...I'm aware ED updates can be...quirky, but I'm rarely around actually on the day for one. Had actually totally forgotten the update was today, until I saw something on FB about it.

Urgh! I loathed doing the Guardian Sites. Not initially, they seemed challenging and fun, but they bugged out on me sooooo many times I still feel traumatised now by it. I did the grind to get every module and weapon, but about 30% of the time the final bit of the sequence broke, if it didn't break earlier. I'm still salty lol.

I use AX weapons like @Marvin the Martian - but I'm not a serious AX player by any means...I used an Anaconda of all things lol.

Still can't connect to the Frontier Servers myself. Nothing's changed my side, I just updated the game.

I do still wonder why the Client Launcher isn't listed in my Donwloadable Products though, nor is any game. Yet I've been around since the original Kickstarter.

My patch batch file must have rm -rf * in it, because all my customizations are gone.

Yeah. Ringtones and Wallpapers are still listed, as is an ancient Beta. Just no current game / client download. I can't recall the last time I logged in to my account, rarely need to.

It'll be the 'ancient beta'. I downloaded the alpha demo and that did the trick

Hah, you're right! I never even considered clicking to download a Beta Demo from 2013 in case it was the 2022 updated Client download for Odyssey....silly me lol.

Game still says "Can't Connect to Frontier Servers" btw...not quite sure what else I can do at this stage. I did double-check Firewall rules just in case, but nothing has changed.

To anyone having trouble with the Frontier client, and the "your client needs to be updated" loop -- try going into your Frontier account, search your downloadable items, and downloading the client from there. That seems to have done the trick for me, and it's updating my game right now.

Welp, I died, and I can't redeploy on the carrier I was last on as it seems they were taken out of the system. And now the game won't load. .

I actually just downloaded that linked Client-Installer.exe and it does appear to be quite old, it doesn't mention Odyssey at all (like the newer installer). The automatically-downloaded client installer did eventually work for me, I just checked out of interest.
