Elite Dangerous | Update 18.06 | Thargoid War overhaul |Tuesday 28 May 2024

servers not synced gotta give it at least 4hrs to roll out fully then there is all the dload traffic on top of that...............
playing on patch day you can expect errors its as simple as that
as for the planets not populating on sys maps that could well be a new bug or a server blade that handles maps at amazon ec2 has fallen over and not been replaced yet

Quite unplayable for me at the moment. Just picked up a load of rescue missions and crashes to a black screen. Eventually shows a black adder crash.

Continuous "Data Corrupted" errors and game crashing after update

Frontier say :
War contribution values have been rebalanced for all actions and the following actions have received significant boosts:
  • All combat actions (e.g. destroying interceptors and Anti Xeno Combat Zones)
  • Hunting Orthrus in alert systems
  • Spire sabotage actions
  • All mission types
  • All rescue operations
The reality :

1 hydra mission +/- 32M 2 hydra 62M
Same before update.

Where is the significant boost ?

Given Titan Hadad entering meltdown well within 48 hours, faster than any of the previous three
For the record, T. Taranis did enter meltdown faster than T. Hadad (about 18:55 UTC on a Friday).
Getting an odd message. Just scanned a system and, when I started my jump to another, I kept getting this:

View attachment 393936

The scan seems to be OK though.

EDIT: I think it's just a bit of lag server side. Don't think it's an issue.
Yes, a server problem. It has been quite some time since I last saw that error.

You’ll probably have to rescan the system (after a relog).
EDIT: Interestingly, I have Elite Observatory running and that will repeat "System scan complete".
Elite Observatory surely takes the information from the local journal file. Locally, the scan was completed, but the information did not reach the appropriate servers.

We are investigating these as a priority and will share more details when possible.

Thank you ever so much for keeping us updated!

T. Taranis did not begin on Thursday though; it became available to attack immediately following update 18, which was on a Monday, so actually that was closer to four days of active assault.
