Buggy or intentional, I do believe that merits-from-exploration-data could really benefit from some clarification. What exactly are the requirements for getting merits?

selling 1 million credits worth of exploration data (single system with an ELW) to the local starport yielded no merits and did not help to complete the weekly assignment.

That's a really good description and it's definitely a bug. Would you mind adding a comment to https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/69158 ... it's high time we got this bug officially confirmed.

Nobody knows, not even Frontier. They would have said if they did.

Well i cant colect packages anymore. It just freezes the list of power contact.

Or, it's possible that the system scan you are selling must have at least one ELW, WW or terraformable in it for it to give you merits. I don't know if the requirement is this, or a minimum value for the system. One of those will almost always give you a million or several, so it's hard to discern without further testing or official specs.

This week I also got a task to deliver exploration data to system x.
Standard data also didn't help - only scanning Elw worked -> link to inara.
