The old Imperial Courier is very wide and it must fit on a landing pad. Maybe a large landing pad for a medium ship.
As CMDR Numa said, the nacelles retract - here is the Courier coming into land during the FE2 intro sequence and the engines have almost fully retracted:

What no-one understands is that the picture is totally inside the Panther Clippers cargo hold.

So in reality its revealing two ships.
Cruel to wake such hope, but it would be great.
Well, after looking at the BIGGER picture from Reddit, I'll run with new medium Gutamaya and thus the final nail in the coffin for the poor old Clipper.

Part of me wonders if this is a Gu97 beefed up like a beefy boss, because that has nacelles that retract inwards IIRC. Mix in a Courier like cigar proboscis and bigger hull and ALDs got her new yacht.

Large ships are rather conspicuous by their absence from the stable SCO lineup. That said I'd prefer something from the Lakon/Delacey for that role.
I have both Corvette and Cutter for my main and they sit at the back of the hangar. I never bothered with the Fed/Imp rank for my alt accounts.
The only ship from either line that sees regular use is the Courier I got from the Winking Cat.

Exactly! At least someone here has kept a clear head.

...is clearly a Worm. It will be part of the Panther Clipper. You will be able to equip up to 3 of them with NPC pilots and load and unload your Clipper.

So there you have it!

And the left Screen shows a CT-Scan of that worm‘s brain. So the Panther Clipper will use worm techniques to fit through the mail slot, in a way of squeezing the hull of the ship. The Wormshiftdrive (Class 9 internal. Marco Qwent will have blueprints).
