Elite Dangerous | šŸ‘€ āž”ļø šŸ”“

I don't think it's a landing leg down the middle part, only the curved workshop wall.
Did I read someone mentioning 'a new Challenger is coming'? Or was it just a result of my post-prandial single malt !:ROFLMAO::alien:

Panther Clipper LX was leaked to be made by Gutamaya.

The left part looks like a wing. It seems to be too small to be the Panther Clipper.
That leak was never particularly convincing to me; I think if it is the Panther Clipper, it will be a Zorgon Peterson as shown in the concept art. If it's to be an ARX ship, it doesn't make sense for it to be locked behind rank.

We had a Zorgon Peterson ship recently (Mandalay). New Gutamaya ships don't have to require a rank. We know what the Panther Clipper looks like unless they drastically changed the design. It's not big enough to be the PC. Based on the scale of the people in the concept art it seems to be a medium ship.

I don't know, it's difficult to tell what size it is from what's visible in the image, but the screen at the bottom seems to suggest it will be rather chonky. Looking at the file name of the image though, hopefully it means we'll get a livestream sometime before Trailblazers and all will be revealed.

Nah... remember the Mandalay artwork with the guy inside the engine nozzle, it was even bigger and still a medium.
It is definitely worth remembering Eliteā€™s ships are fairly sizeable even from the medium category and upward. I think a Phantomā€™s like, at least 50 meters long and some 14-18 meters tall (may/probably does include landing gear)? Something like that, but itā€™s going to make a human look tiny next to it.

The access corridor (mailslot) of a station is 222 m wide and only 52 m high. The low height severely limits the ship designs unless they increase the mailslot height.

It had retractable nacelles.
A functionality which now also exists in ED with the T8. No reason to think other new ships couldn't have the same.

It does, but I'm not entirely sure how it relates to the point - humans looking tiny does not necessarily equate that it's a large ship. The scales involved relative to Elite's ship sizes make me suspect a medium ship rather than large. See the figure stood on top of it. If that was a large ship, they'd look a lot smaller in comparison.

Artemis suit and the ship definitely doesn't look like a warship from what I can see.

I agree with the others, it's an explorer. Just in time for the Feb 26 colonization reveal too.

Release* (sorry)

But Iā€™m not sure how much use an explorer would actually be in this first/preliminary(?) version of colonization weā€™re getting - seeing how itā€™s primarily going to be near-Bubble systems targeted by it. Then again, if this is going to be a Saud Kruger rather than Gutamaya/Imperial, Iā€™m not sure Iā€™d see a hauler come from them.

They are likely going to throw out a bit more teasers on the Frontier Unlocked to come next week, though, that I agree with.
