And a nice one it is. Lets hope we will find out more about those targeted expansions to make the success repeatable.

We are always interested in players who like to play the BGS and take part in our custom made campaigns and missions. It never gets boring, and we always have a plethora of stuff to do for all kinds of players, from bounty hunting to trading, mining, exploration, mission running, Powerplay or Community Goals.

A six month long campaign to reach one of our BGS goals has come to a successful end.
Thanks to all who helped triggering about 20 expansions, fought in 50 civil wars, did some of the thousands of missions or tenthousands of pirate kills. Add to that the hours and hours of reconnaissance, data entry and reorganization to adapt to a moving playboard with 100 variables, new patches etc.

It is imho the greatest BGS achievement in the game yet, although it will look small to the uninitiated.

If you're browsing the group forum, but don't really know much about the BackGround Simulation, this news is BIG.

The key things are:
1) High population system.
2) Targeted Expansion.

Yes, Virginia - you CAN choose where your expansion goes!
Even into a 2 billion population system!

How was it done?

It's like gardening.
It takes MONTHS.
It's like when you're having tea in someone's front garden, and you look up at the tree you are sitting under and see that it's growing red apples and green apples. Planting, nurturing, weeding, fertilising, the grafting, pruning, all the care and work.

Dedication and coordination and patience.

But it CAN be done.
