One easy thing to do to get your files onto your Kindle:

1. Go to Amazon -> My Account -> Manage my Kindle
2. Click on 'Manage My Devices' from the sidebar
3. Your Kindle has an e-mail address assigned to this - xxx@kindle.com. Copy this address.
4. E-mail the .mobi file from Fantastic Books to this e-mail address and it will be wirelessly loaded onto your Kindle.

No fuss in connecting up your Kindle this way, just an easy e-mail to send.

If you got the recent email to download the books you backed, simply download them, connect your Kindle, and in Windows Explorer, copy & paste the file across. While this is true, you could use Dropbox, keep the email, burn it to a CD, put it on a flash drive ... I could go on, but my point is that just because you have a Kindle doesn't mean you need to do everything through Amazon's website.

Loving the story, quite surprised so far at the amount of typos and grammar issues, to be honest. I think I have the latest edition (clicked the link after your last missive went out).
