Fiction Elite: Lave Revolution

Thanks for the update, hope the court proceedings are brief for everyone's sake.
Hey once it's done with i'm sure many people here would be very interested to hear what the whole dispute was about, you could write a book about it :p
I know you cannot say much but is their any chance that you can you at least give myself and your other backers some assurance that your book will be released in an audio format regardless of the outcome of the dispute?

Apologies, but no I can't give any information currently on formats other than what I have said as anything I say would be related to the action. If I were to state something and then have it used against me in court, I'd be pretty stupid. I would dearly like to reassure you. I can say I have a plan, but that's about it.

The dispute has been going on since 31st of January 2015. It shows no sign of being solved quickly I'm afraid.

Some more positive news...

My short story collection A Bag of Bedtime Tales returns! I've been over all the stories and given them a good edit based on the four years since their first publication.

Some of the stories were topical then and its been interesting re-reading them and seeing how topical they are now. I thought Lap Times was particularly interesting to look back on.

If you're looking for a little late night reading. Maybe they can help? ;)

Managed to start getting samples of the author reading audio out to backers this weekend. Just chapter one, but I have further chapters recorded and am editing these.

Once backers have received the full book, I will then look to publish this audio version.

This weekend, Julian Gollop's Chaos Reborn officially launches.

As part of the game, I have produced Journal of the Gifted One an episodic story available in the game when you play it.

Short update on the court hearing: We have adjourned until February.

I will not be posting any details until the matter is concluded.

Yes, apologies, I have been on a heavy couple of teaching days.

At 2pm on Monday February 29, both parties were called to resume the hearing, to be informed that Hull County Court had managed to double book the hearing with a training course, so the presiding judge was not present and no alternative judge could take his place owing to the complexity of the case.

We have been asked to re-arrange for April/May.

As you can imagine, having driven up, stayed overnight and taken time off work. I'm not best pleased with this procedural error.

Next update:

After returning from Hull, we emailed the court clerk about the proposed dates for the continuation of the case. Karen and I organised our schedules to ensure we would be available for all of the proposed dates offered in April.

Unfortunately, Fantastic Books Publishing have said the earliest date they can be available to resume is the 31st of May.

We have accepted this date, after confirming the delay will make no difference to the circumstances of the case as they currently stand.

Once again, apologies for the continued delay. I'm afraid it is beyond my control.
