End of June Livestream with Devs is not happening.

So a lot of people have been waiting eagerly for the livestream with the devs that Frontier have been talking about for weeks now.

The livestream is no longer happening. Instead it is going to be a forum post.

I thought it important to post this, as the message doesn't seem to have been widely seen yet.

And just for further clarification, I have asked the CM if this means no dev stream. The answer is that the dev stream has been changed to a forum post.

Thanks for the information. I would be interested in why it is so hard for FDev to bring in some weekly or monthly develping infos on what they work (for next week, next month or the next half year). Is it because of low manpower or are all works outsourced to some foreign countrys who nobody knows what will be devleoped next!? curious ....

For example when the bad EDO planetary tech was being pointed out on the forums Dr Kay Ross received lots of pings on her personal Twitter account.

There seem to be a lot of people willing to unload their anger at devs. And while a CM is payed to bear the brunt of community's anger, that's not the case with the Devs.

It's almost as if you were told that Odyssey was going to run at the same performance level as Horizons, only to have the hardware requirements changed within 24 hours of launch.

This is also true.. Yeah I would be happy for the dev team to be protected from that kind of unwanted social vandalism! Good point.

Let's hear what they have to say today about it.
However, besides the annoyance of another possible bait and switching in comunication, i don't care too much about the dev update being a post instead of a stream, the really important thing here is what they'll have to say, and if that's meaningful or another cloud of smoke.

Maybe we could have a stream with the management in charge of development direction instead?

I mean I'm sure the individual devs can't help that their bosses are forcing them to deliver subpar work and don't deserve to catch the flak for it.
