I suspect they will get it fixed. It's also a problem on ps4.

Strangely, for me remote engineering was borked, but engineering at mel brandon's base worked. Up to grade3, then it softlocked.

It's been a week now. This should have been fixed within 2 hours of going live and realizing there was a problem. It's just terrible how poorly managed fdev seems to be as a company from the perspective of it's customers. Rockstar would never do this to it's customers. Never.

Seriously,

I figured it would take a bit of time to get this sorted out, so I have been mining and bounty hunting for materials, then traveling to my next engineer. There needs to be resolution for this soon.

https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/4330 - considered invalid as it is a duplicate of https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/3834 which apparently is fixed. Hopefully so as I would hate to grind through multiple jumps to reach an engineer to rediscover the bug...

I was able to engineer without issue at the engineer base. I have not tried remote engineering yet.

Remote engineered some Dirty Drive thrusters and then went and, finally, unlocked Chloe Sedesi and (probably pointlessly) pinned Clean Drives, so another confirmation that it’s working.
