Engineers Engineering Database And Calculator [Engineers Update]

So I have followed the notes on the OP and 'made a copy', however then as per point 2) I have gone into view to select hidden - but this is greyed out ?

Can anyone help.

Looks like a great tool. Thanks

There are no hidden sheets anymore, actually, that's why. Will fix soon.

Well finally after all this time this engineer update has been around I've finally got my butt into gear to try it all out. Seems I have a ship load of materials and data collected.
This thread is awesome - lets hope the engineers stuff is too :)

one question - say for example it says to help increase to the next grade sell exploration data - is that to the person at the workshop / in that system / anywhere?
Just been to whatserface for FSD stuff and there's no cartographic selling option

Just wanted to drop in and mention that edshipyard.com now supports engineer modifications, so you can experiment with various modifiers to see how they impact your overall loadout.

It also now supports importing from the Companion API, so if anyone here has their API export showing modified modules, please try loading it (copy-paste into the import box, or just drag-drop the JSON file onto the page). If you get a popup about unknown modifications, I'd love it if you could send me a copy of that JSON file along with screenshots of the "MODIFICATIONS" view of the modified modules in the in-game outfitter (showing their modified attribute values) so I can add support for more modifier types. Thanks!

The Sarge is at Beta-3 Tucani 2 B A, not Beta-3 Tucani A 2 a 1

Cheers, fixed.

=====================

V. 8.2 Changelog:

- added new 2.1 Engineers blueprints
- reviewed 2.2 Engineers values
- added 2.2 Enginieers costs
- expanded Browser to allow view of up to 8 modifications
- moved the costs data to Constants and removed them from the Data sheet, made necessary tweaks to the Browser.

To do soon:

- move the value increments to Constants and remove them from the data sheet
- add the few new grade blueprints for 2.1 Engineers

Ok, now what is more up to date, the main database or the components only sheet?

Main database says: Exquisite Focus Crystals can be found through mining. The components only sheet on the other hand says they can be gained through salvaging and missions.

[???]

I have never seen them from mining (and as a manufactured material that makes sense), I've done a lot of mining. I have also never seen them in ship salvage.

After trying to find them for 2 whole days, both doing the log in/out exploit and also just jumping from system to system and not even seeing them once I think the new materials from 2.2 bugged the whole system because I've seen the worthless crystal shards and biotech conductors en masse. Even systems that like Shu Babassi that supposedly used to have abnormal high chances of spawning EFCs don't give jack now. THANKS FRONTIER

The Database has "Tempered Alloys" listed as part of the micromaterial list.
Anyone seen this in game? It doesn't seem to be used in any blueprint.

That intel is fed by people, I personally don't know better :/ And I'll stop support of the doc very soon.

Fair enough :)

Is anyone going to take over with the maintenance? If not, I kind of centralized the data in two jsons I use for EDEngineer (ingredients and blueprints ; big files so it takes a while to load). People are welcome to update the files via pull requests, I don't plan to stop validating and accepting them yet. It's not as fancy and user friendly as your google spreadsheet, but it's data that can easily be used by other third-parties to develop websites or applications.
