3,200,000 tons for tier 5 target...
About 90mins to fill a correctly fitted laser mining cutter with 512 tons... = about 6,250 runs so even best times in ring...
9375 hours of active play time to get to tier 5.. (according to calculator) even with every player using the best mining ship...

It doesn't matter much. As tech broker unlock it will be a one-time materials unlock and afterwards unlimited purchases with credits. And it isn't even the annoying grade 5 materials to unlock. So if theCG just reaches tier 1, it's already fine.

This will be first time mineing for me. I will probably use my python for it since i dont like it but want to find some use for it.

Anybody want to share a good python build for this? Do i understand correct that laser mining is best?

You want quantity per hour for this so yep laser is best for tons per min...
Fastest will be with fully engineer access do you have that...

Other wise its the standard class A things if you want..

  • A-rated Prospector
  • Mining Lasers, Refinery -Limpets -Maximized Power Distributor
  • Collectors - 3 collectors per mining laser..
  • Detailed Surface Scanner
