Pork Chop Platoon

The Pork Chop Platoon (XBOX) welcomes new pilots, seasoned veterans, and everyone in between. Our player-owned minor faction, supported by our Pork Chop Platoon squadron (PCPL in game), makes its home in the Swazahua. The PCPL squadron and minor faction are independently allied with the Alliance, but our individual pilots enjoy the freedom to make their own Power Play allegiances. Whether flying solo or in a wing, in our preferred private group or in Open, we tend to enjoy friendly banter over XBOX party chat as we help our newer pilots and give our veterans a good-natured hard time.

The Pork Chop Platoon recently celebrated our 13th year as a multi-game community of XBOX players (25 years & older). Our clan is always open to new members. Our 1,000+ members play games across all genres - shooters, racing, sports, and of course, space! To us, having a good attitude and being a good sport is more important than stats. We always have a good time with each other and never take ourselves too seriously. No player should game alone unless they do so by choice. “Leave no Pig behind” as we like to say.

Good morning Commanders after a long weekend of hauling medicines to the afflicted station and working on influence in many of our systems it looks like we are nearly ready to move into another new home. We added another new Pig to hangar and helped him get his space legs and into his own Python. Another great weekend with the PCP. I was finally able to get to the engineer in the Alioth system and i am pretty sure a good chunk of our group made a pile of cash this weekend running some good wing missions. With our most recent expansion we welcome the inhabitants of Koamu Yi to the Pork Chop Platoon family. It looks like we might share this system with another group and hope for a long an healthy relationship. Commander DeadMeat finally got out of his Tank and joined the Pigs in Space. We are working to help him keep from landing his ship upside down on planets at great speed, but as many of you know Elite Dangerous has a steep learning curve. As the war for the bottom in 70 Virginis moves into its tenth day PCP still continues to represent as much as possible. Strange that this war should have been over after 7 days maximum but the launch of Odyssey and the fact that no combat zones showed up for the first two days has made this a strange one. I have never seen so many carriers in a system for such a battle and now they are all stuck there since carriers still cannot plot a route. Upon the completion of this war if it ever ends PCP will be back in our systems working to make sure the people are happy and well taken care of.

While the PorkChop Platoon is always looking to add new pilots to our squadron we have taken a step back from expansion for a bit to do a little clean up in our systems. We are currently working to consolidate all the station in Abroin and will clean up another one after that till we have all the stations in systems we control.

It has been a while since i updated this thread. After successfully defending Boko from a pirate incursion we are looking at expanding out of Swazahua. If you are over 25 and play on the XBOX, well i hear we are considering Playstation as well, but we don't have any yet so in game communication is a bit difficult. Please check us out.
