And there is PvP and there is a experienced player deliberately targeting new players to boost "stats" and ego bolster.

Please dont get me wrong. I play a lot of pure PvP games. But I know the difference between greifing and proper PvP combat.

Yeah it's those guys complaining "OMG rare trading is so boring this game has no content : ((((( ". They grind and grind because they're into e-peen building, then discover they can use credits to invest in cheesy pvp (which yields no profit but Schadenfreude).

When you meet those guys, alt+f4 and report. They don't generate content, they're only in for the omg so funneh tears.

Ok let me get this straight..... I'm no fan of it BUt you guys are mad because there are people kitting out there ships with all missiles and then trying to kill others in pvp. HMMMM If you don't want pvp don't play open. If it bothers you kit out to defend them. It's part of gameplay. and in ED there isn't much gameplay to start. Hell they should complain that you guys POP too easily when the fire on you. But more likely "they" should ticket every one of you cowards for killing the game as soon as you get scared. Again if you are going to do that "coward" then play in private or solo. That's is problem solved. No one is grieving they are only playing like they want to. "using "their" imagination as everyone is saying. They will get tired of using missiles eventually. WOW really amazing that people are such that as soon as they are faced with a challenge they quit. Missiles are nothing amazing. Just fit a couple of point defence and keep your speed up and they won't even land any hits.

if you think its griefing you should probably play solo

I think mostly because of the proximity to such a prominent starter zone. Nothing will send a new player running for Solo faster than getting caught out in an unwinnable situation 5 minutes after starting the game.

Maybe so but it's a known occupied space that has a high traffic of actual players. There might a few other places to take the fight but this is a good start.

Also, it's perfectly alright to alt+f4 when they pull you out of supercruise, and you should do it.

Seriously dude go back to solo mode where you belong. Alt4ers are the grievers buddy. They ruin the game. I'm not for missile ships or needless killing but all alt4ers ARE "((COWARDS))" and need to be put in crosshairs every chance someone gets after they kill their game. We need a list of all alt4ers. so everyone can interdict them. then send them a comms saying "this is what you get for alt4ing Coward). Finally killing them or at least trying.

Actually had an idea. How about an external site for player bounties. You can place a bounty on someone through the site then when someone kills the bounty they have to video it for proof upload and then whoever put out the bounty pays in a gold drop or something. Of course there would be time frames and possible a rep system so people know who pays and who doesn't. should be pretty easy to do .

If I repeated the process on the same player over and over, that would be griefing but that wasn't the case. I'm sorry I found some fun playing a space pirate. And I'm not hiding as in the prior thread you're mentioning. I welcomed the pilot that had me do that to him to shoot me down if he ever saw me. It works both ways. So instead of trying to shame me about it, get over yourself .

This whole thread is about taking out new players who haven't had time to protect themselves or move to other areas. The only reason for picking that area is because it is full of basic sidewinders with no decent weapons. Pretty weak. Shows the mentality of the OP and those defending it.

Nope cowards are people who shut their computer down just to run from a fight or "cower" in the face of danger everytime they are faced with opposition that is challenging or overwhelming. Leaving you alive is a gift lol. If FD was to bring back the space towing then it would be awesome. but a stupid decision that was, taking that out of the game. FD was supposed to fix that alt4ing issue in beta if I remember correctly anyway. But I think most are just killing there modems/routers now. Either way a coward. Play solo. Oh and a coward can also be defined as the OP attacking just sidies (newbees) the defenseless and inexperienced, If that is what he is doing.
