Eurasia VS Europe VS Asia DLC

Recently I've seen people bring up the idea of a "Eurasia" DLC instead of a solely Europe one, just in case Frontier were to see Europe alone as not sellable enough. I think Europe could work, but I also could see Europe and North Asia together (the temperate, taiga, and tundra parts of North Asia specifically) working really well together. I threw together a concept for such a pack just to see how appealing it could look:

Eurasia.png

(Sika Deer, Red Crowned Crane, Alpine Ibex, Wolverine, Crested Porcupine, Japanese Giant Salamander, Walrus, Iberian Lynx.)

It was so much fun that I got carried away and made some more, just to see which pack would look the most "sellable." And out of curiosity of which ones you guys would prefer. I even added India and Oceana because why not:

North Asia.png

(Amur Leopard, Sika Deer, Red Crowned Crane, Chinese Giant Flying Squirrel, Przewalski's Wild Horse, Sea Otter, Tanuki, Giant Salamander.)
Europe.png

Alpine Ibex, Iberian Lynx, Mute Swan, Red Deer, Crested Porcupine, Legless Lizard, Walrus, Wolverine)

India.png

(Sloth Bear, Nilgai, Indian Giant Squirrel, Asian SC Otter, King Cobra, Fishing Cat, Greater Adjutant, Golden Langur)
Oceana.png

(Tree Kangaroo, Platypus, Tassie Devil, Kiwi Bird, Echinda, Thorny Devil, Wallaby, Emu)

India was painful, it was so hard to choose between the fishing cat, Indian leopard, and Asiatic lion. I also fought between the sloth bear and striped hyena. And I'd love to see the nilgai, blackbuck, gaur and muntjac, but they only fit so many hooved animals into each pack!

What would you guys pick in the Europe VS Eurasia VS Asia dilemma? A Europe AND North Asia pack, or combining them together into Eurasia? What animals would you pick? How appealing to these packs look from best to worst? lol no worries if you don't feel like answering, but I won't be offended either way.

Frontier might even switch to biome packs instead of this method eventually, (and here I am making only animal packs instead of normal ones) but hey, it was fun!

Here's the thing with me, and probably only me, going forward. As long as we get North American animals in any way shape or form going forward from this point, I'm good, even if it's just one in a scenery pack. What I mean by that is that an animal is predominantly North American (like the Arctic Fox) but also stretches into Europe, so it would be vice versa going forward. I really have no doubt that they'll be North American birds in a bird pack (again, in any way shape or form). The reason for all of this is that I'm building a North America Wildlife Park right now, and it's just hitting me right. I feel comfortable building in the taiga biome, with North American animals. Plus, my PC can't handle a zoo with 50+ species (comfortably). I could just pick out 30 or so species but I absolutely hate "picking" animals. Doing what I'm doing is giving me the opportunity to use animals I would never use, and appreciating them even more.

(A big) Anyway, I think a Europe DLC with theming and all of that nonsense would work and a Eurasia Animal Pack and then that's it for specifically that part of the world. So, I would like to see Wolverine, some kind of deer species, maybe a porcupine, small animals like that.

No takin?

I was hoping to fit the takin in somewhere actually; in fact I’d like to see it more than the musk ox. I just had to hold myself back from putting too many hooved animals in each pack. (limited myself to two.) Would love to see it in game though!

Europe animal pack, but swap Wolverine, crested porcupine and walrus for European badger, red fox, and wild hog or wisent! :) We already have a pinniped in the grey seal, the badger is a more iconically European mustelid, and the porcupine is an african animal first and foremost, with only a small population in Italy. I'd much rather we get the biggest remaining European megafauna: the wisent, or the wild hog which is a staple of European forests.

Definitely temperate Eurasia for me please :)

1. Amur leopard (Asia)

2. Przewalski horse (Asia)

3. Eurasian lynx (Europe and Asia)

4. Wolverine (Europe and Asia)

5. Ibex (Europe but other ibexes all over Asia)

6. Musk ox (Europe and Asia) or Walrus - very hard choice

7. Père David’s deer (Asia)

"We don't need a Walrus because we already have a pinniped in the grey seal" is not consistent with wanting a Wisent

Sika deer instead of the red deer, but the iberian instead of the eurasian lynx for an eurasian dlc?
Sir, what is this warcrime?
Haha 😁 I wanted a couple animals that were only found in Europe (Alpibe Ibex and Iberian Lynx) and a couple only in Asia (Red crowned crane and Sika deer) so they got some time to shine. But I DID also consider making the DLC only contain animals literally found all over Eurasia. I’d enjoy either tbh.

I’m more of a ma’am than a sir tho, lmao

My reasoning is that the pinniped niche is already filled with the grey seal, and the large megafauna niche is still empty.

Add to that that I feel the Wisent represents Europe more than the Walrus. Case in point: I had to look up where walruses even live, and the only Walrus area that can loosely be considered Europe is Greenland. So yes, I will take the Wisent over the Walrus in a European animal pack.
