They mentioned the release price of the game will be bigger, than Early Access price, but didn't mentioned by how much. Also could be a marketing trick.

Everspace 2 looks like a spaceship shooter's dream. The visuals are amazing; planets blown apart, a variety of asteroid shapes; planets, etc etc). I found a video from earlier this year by AA, and it hits on a lot of basics of the game. There are lots of vids coming out for this game.
I like that you can fly down to planet surfaces (its not seamless but pretty good how they do the "seam").

Never played any Everquest nor -spaces. There were always space games around but they were often very trashy. And probably didnt have the rig to play it. Maybe I'll look at this. There is some submarine game I keep associating with this franchise dor some reason.

I have it now via a sale at gog. So far I like it but its flight model reminds me of Freelancer (I haven't played Freelancer in years, so check me on that).
I've changed the keyboard to match my other space flight sim games as much as I can so the enjoyment level has increased. Made it through the first couple of tutorials and its been fun.

The visuals are amazing. So off I go. GL HF

Can you break from the missions and fly off to explore ?
Its seems like I have to always follow a script. I'd really like to fly around these wonderful places w/o mission demands.

From what I remember of my playthrough of the demo, yeah you seem to always be in a mission but nothing blocks you from wandering off this track. Except from threat levels tied to areas that gatekeep players out of places they shouldn't go.

I'm going to venture outward and mine (now that I know how), and take in the sights. That might make me some money for upgrades and other ships.

Do many people here play Everspace 2 ?

I bought three space games recently: Everspace 2, Astrox and Helium Rain. I've basically stopped playing Astrox and Helium but still playing Everspace.

I've hit a wall with Everspace 2, I am not good at combat so my progression is slow. So far I am still stuck in my region around the home base (home turf) and can not find out how to fly to other systems or find a planet to land on (which is the big reason I've stuck with Everspace).

any comments would be appreciated. Have a wonderful week

edit: I'm not going to beat this poor dead horse any more if nobody plays this game. GL HF all

I own it and had been playing it but I stopped as it kept getting changed. Waiting on it's official release before I start again.
