Please, do tell.

Of course, in line with one of the internet's cardinal rules...

That's Styggron If I remember correctly, Geraldine and myself are the Amiga nutters on here. :D

I've only got a boxed FFE now, and the disks for Frontier on the miggy not sure what happened to the others.

Very jealous. I have the BBC version of Elite and the PC version of Frontier. Don't Have First Encounters at all.

Ah Styggron! knew it was someone, i must look out my old games.

Ive still got my old computers in the loaf somewhere, my Speccy, Amiga and even a Commodore 16 or was it a 32? (it was a big disappointment Xmas day when i unwrapped it and it wasn't 64 one i had hinted at that's for sure! lol) no Elite for that last one though!

I've got Frontier running on my Amiga 1200, which is nice to boot up occasionally, As great as emulators are theres nothing quite like playing it on the original equipment. :D

They must be a bit crusty by now.

I did see them in a box once....many years ago, very crusty perhaps!

I even have the floppy discs/cass, and didn't there use to be something called free shareware for the Amiga? my memories are so bad now, anyway i know i use to play a lot of shareware stuff on some machine, i do need to dust them all off though. As T.J said be good to play on the originals, if the power packs are still working that is!

Impressive.

The only one that I know of that you haven't listed is the Commodore 128/64 version. I'm not sure if that was just a re-boxed CBM 64 version or if any real changes were made.

Hi, there was no official 128 version of Elite, a couple of fan re-engineered versions have popped up over the years. The official version was the C64 Disk Edition, that had a few extras if loaded on to a 128.
