Why couldn't on-foot commanders use binoculars when exploring on-foot?
Yeah, work-arounds. Would be better with a dedicated item with its own capabilities =)Use weapon with zoom mod. Or even beter - camera drone can zoom x4
We could maybe have high-tech binoks with the capability to designate a point, memorize coordinates, so we can find headings toward this point later =)I tested 4x zoom in the HIP 22460, it worked quite well but I'm missing binoculars, it would be nice if it was built into the visor where the camera sits next to the flashlight (torch).
Ye, that's called "Canon plugin for EDMC"We could maybe have high-tech binoks with the capability to designate a point, memorize coordinates, so we can find headings toward this point later =)
Qué hunting around Pioneer Supplies for a scope with a gun attached to it...Use weapon with zoom mod. Or even beter - camera drone can zoom x4
A binocular with zoom and a rangefinder integrated will be perfect, something that tell us the distance of the pointed object. Why couldn't on-foot commanders use binoculars when exploring on-foot?
in the meantime, you can use what everyone else is using - an executioner with scope
not like it does much good anyway - sometimes the game wont render exobiology features unless they're really close, however it may work for non-exobiology stuff
Thanks for the tipin the meantime, you can use what everyone else is using - an executioner with scope

Well, there is Night Vision...maybe an infra-red mode?
