Exploration buff suggestion

Dear Elite Dangerous developers,

I love the game, but I have been waiting for new ideas for a long time. Here are some suggestions that would be great for the game:

1st Stage: All planets outside the human bubble could have minerals that players can mine on foot using a drill.

2nd Stage: The Cutter and Corvette ships could have the capacity to carry up to 4 mini-ships (4 players in a party).

3rd Stage: The Cutter and Corvette ships could orbit planets, allowing players to descend to the surface with their mini-ships.

The mini-ships would occupy the SRV slot in the main ship.

This would enhance the multiplayer exploration experience by allowing players to descend to planets with mini-ships to farm materials, ascend back to the main ship, and move to other planets or star systems, collecting materials across the universe to sell later.

This could be addressed simply: Give ship-launched fighters landing gear.

None of the big ships are big enough, I believe, to host four independent ships like a Sidewinder. The flavour text for the Anaconda was changed a few years back to remove a reference to this.

On the other hand, physical multicrew means that the mothership can just land and everyone gets out on the surface.

There are already some aspects of the game that lend themselves to this idea. Raw material collection from crystal shards, for example, is much more efficient if you get out your SRV and shoot the materials off the trees with a personal weapon.

And make them manned vehicles not just RPV drones.

You can already "mine" stuff using the SRV. There's not enough detail in your statement.

Frontier doesn't want to do nested ships, never mind that those 2 ships can't even host 4 small ships. The Fleet Carrier though effective already fills the role you describe.

@the100thmonkey @metatheurgist I understand what you’re talking about. In this case, a carrier could be used to store the materials and ships, allowing each player to descend with their own ship and SRV to the planet. Adding landing gear to the mini fighters, as @the100thmonkey suggested, wouldn't be a bad idea. Regarding the SRV, I think the farming method is very slow and tedious, which discourages new generations from playing the game.

sorry for my english.

The one thing that I find annoying in all this is that there are those little cargo racks that one needs to cut using a maverick suit in order to release the canisters to be collected by the SRV.
That's not proper integration of on foot and vehicle game loops, considering that those canisters could actually be carried by hand to the SRV, if handle mechanics were implemented
