Not always though. Many games have different difficult settings, of which the highest is very deadly. Like legendary in Halo, or survival in NMS. I've started to see Solo as easy mode and Open as dangerous mode, where griefers are part of making the game really difficult. It is what it is, nothing more or less, and I choose to play which mode that suits me.You know the game design needs a makeover when the accepted advice to avoid getting killed is to "disable" multi-player, i.e. switch to Solo.![]()
