Exploration in a wing when bodies have already been discovered

Hypotetical :
Let's say I scanned a whole system with fss, then sell it. Then make a wing with my buddy. Does he see the system as undiscovered? Can he/we still scan it for him to then sell?

Trying to understand how "already known" data is shared in a wing.

I'm not familiar with how the FSS works with Wings, but I know that back in the pre-FSS days, you had to actually be winged and in the same system at the time of the scan, in order for the data to be shared. I would assume the FSS works the same?

Yes it works the same. But what im wondering is : if one of the player already discovered it and the other did not, will it let the new player discover it?
