Same system here, no issues.I use flat screen myself, I've had no issues on my i7 with 16gb ram and 3070 card.

I retract my first impressions on the Scorpion. I ditched the collector limpet controller on my dolphin and installed a second vehicle bay with a Scorpion. It's actually fun, although it feels kinda weird to bring a military vehicle on an exploration vessel . Anyway, the engine sound is balls, and it really goes like on tracks. The cockpit view is slightly claustrophobic, reminds me a bit of the eagle or the F63. I think I will enjoy it .most of my surveying is done in the SRV, I take both Scarab and Scorpion with me, the Icy bodies get the Scorpion, others the Scarab.
I looked at that first one and thought the place actually had grass! Some of the new bases can look pretty awesome too, with or without blue skies...
Not yet, just lush, green sand. I think this one is my favorite 'grassy' planet so far...I looked at that first one and thought the place actually had grass!
i7-4770K 3.50GHz@Helmut Grokenberger and you other on-foot explorers, I'd be very interested to learn which graphics cards you are using. I was hestistant buying Odyssey since it doesn't really add much for me, but those vistas may actually make it worth buying it.
Would the quality be the same if logging in through EH 4.0 and deploying a buggy, to check how well my own performs?
With it being quite so 'tanky', the Scorpion engine sound is a bit lightweight, I'd expect it to have much more 'grunt', but it is a nice drive when on surfaces where the Scarab is a bit like a demented ballet dancer!I retract my first impressions on the Scorpion. You know, there were a couple of times when Frontier asked for exobiology feedback specifically, the last one I believe was here. The thread's dead now, but if somebody wants to give their feedback more visibility, it might be more worth posting there.Maybe it would make sense to create a dedicated thread to discuss the shortcomings of Odyssey gameplay rather than to derail something that started more like a diary.
This makes me want to do more deep space journeys. Not yet, just lush, green sand. I think this one is my favorite 'grassy' planet so far...
Of course there are similar planets in the Bubble. This makes me want to do more deep space journeys.
Sounds like someone's blown the transaxle! With it being quite so 'tanky', the Scorpion engine sound is a bit lightweight, I'd expect it to have much more 'grunt', but it is a nice drive when on surfaces where the Scarab is a bit like a demented ballet dancer!
Certainly driver error here! (It normally happens when I have used Drive Assist on to stop quickly, then forgotten to switch it back off again! One day I'll set a control for the handbrake, I guess...)Sounds like someone's blown the transaxle!
Yeah, but then you don't get the thrill of being the first to find itOf course there are similar planets in the Bubble.
Wait... Drive assist works on SRV's?Certainly driver error here! (It normally happens when I have used Drive Assist on to stop quickly, then forgotten to switch it back off again! One day I'll set a control for the handbrake, I guess...)
Yes, it basically works like cruise control.Wait... Drive assist works on SRV's?

With homicidal tendencies...Yes, it basically works like cruise control.
