Personally, I quite liked flying the Anaconda, as it felt like a proper large ship, what with the bridge (not really a cockpit!) view, turning and all.
Not that I'd like to fly any large ship planetside these days though. At least, not regularly. I'd rather take my 60 ly Courier for that, instead of an 80 ly Anaconda. (Pretty sure the latter would fail my collision test too.) Much less time spent on finding a suitable landing spot, and no need to get in and out of an SRV either.
So, min-max for jump range, or better surface flight? I know which one I'd choose.
